How much does Gumroad take per sale?
Gumroad keeps 10% + $0.50 on every direct sale, and 30% on sales that come through Gumroad Discover. Card processing is charged on top.
Why does the $0.50 matter so much?
It is charged on every sale, whatever the price. On a $5 product, 10% + $0.50 adds up to 20% of the price; on a $50 product, to 11%.
Is there a minimum payout on Gumroad?
Yes. Gumroad holds your earnings until your balance reaches $100, then pays out weekly.
Does the calculator include card processing?
No. It shows the platform fees only. Card processing comes on top on Gumroad, as on most platforms.
